THE LAND OF FROST AND CLOCKWORK

The LAND OF FROST AND CLOCKWORK is a vast frozen archipelago wasteland. All the islands are close enough together that one can walk across the frozen sea if one is brave enough - or perhaps accidentally as snow can cover the ice in such a way that it appears to be solid ground under your feet. Inside the ice are giant BEHEMOTHS, some look friendly, some do not, but the smallest is the size of a Volkswagen bus, the largest about the size of a blue whale.
Each island (and there are easily hundreds) within this sea varies in size between barely more than a 20x20 square foot dot above the iced water to the size of the island of Hawai'i itself.
Just about every part of exposed land is covered, however, by parts of what looks like a FACTORY that spreads for the thousands of miles that the islands occupy - some with spires that stretch so far into the sky that they vanish into the clouds above. The factory of giant gears, exposed piping, and long gone dark furnaces stretches below as well, though the stairways that lead down have been frozen shut to the point that no amount of force will open them as the lower levels have all flooded. Everything is frosted over, and pressing exposed skin to them is not a good idea.
The Denizen Jade must face is the LEVIATHAN, a creature so impossibly large that there is no way to put measurement to it, for if he is within a mile he takes up the entire field of vision. His scales may as well be made of iron and are so tight together that even air cannot get through them. He breathes fire, and has claws along his long serpentine body capable of rending steel to shreds.
The way to defeat the Leviathan is not with strength, but with trickery and cooperation. The behemoths are the frozen consorts, and using the Leviathan's fiery breath one needs to trick him into re-lighting the long-frozen forges. While this will do little to warm the world as a whole, it allows the sea to completely thaw and the heat weakens the the Leviathan. With the aid of the consorts, only then can he be defeated.
